The sculptures are made from long-stored core oak, shaped with a chainsaw in rough strokes and left unpolished. The sculptures' motifs are enlarged botanical forms: seeds, sprouts and seedlings, lying dormant before growth begins. The sculptures can be placed among plants, as markers defining a space, or as focal points in the landscape. They are made of long-seasoned heartwood oak, shaped with a chainsaw in coarse strokes and left with an unsanded surface.
